MM&A 8569 leads a special move of equipment heading for North Conway N.H. for Public Service of New Hampshire. The train departed Searsport around 1430 hours and took about a half hour to get to this location around Stockton Springs Maine on Tuesday June 16th, 2009.
I followed the train from Searsport to Northern Maine Junction before giving up on the chase around dinner time as I had some commitments I needed to make.
A few fellow photographers were out and about this day making it another fun day.
The shot above was that of pure exploration at its finest. I decided to look around and happened across this. It pays to explore somedays. My hopeful shot from up-top of Mount Waldo wasn't meant to be this day of the move. I am out of shape and scrapped the shot due to clouds and instead followed suit of photographers Rod Bushway and Mike Peverett and shot at Mosquito Mountain.
